Design & Building Complications
The museum was partly built underground; so as visitors approach, they see the roof of the building first. The owner did not want roof mounted HVAC units and utility connections to be his visitor’s first impression when they approached. The museum curators wanted as little humidity as possible, so that the restored war tanks did not rust.
Johnson Air-Rotation HVAC Systems provided one heating and cooling system that was ground-mounted inside the facility. The Johnson HVAC System included cooling coils and reheat capabilities to prevent humidity build-up, making Johnson the easy choice for the customer.
